Life as a single woman can be challenging.  Whether through a divorce (often due to domestic violence) or death of a husband, life recovery from this unfortunate situation takes time and energy.  Many women are barely surviving.  They work long days only to come home to hurting, hungry children.  Some have lost the skills required for their jobs, as they have been home caring for their children for years before their divorces occur.  Children often feel neglected.  They need support too.  Often family members desert these women and their children because of the stigma associated with divorce. 

Women don't have to be alone in the recovery process.  They hurt and their children hurt deeply.  Women feel the pain of the divorce, abuse, rejection and fear for their future and the future of their children.  However, there is a God who cares.
